Underscores

Please refrain from using underscores to link to other pages or files. This interferes with our ability to replace text en masse should we need to. - TonyT S C 08:10, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'll try to keep that in mind. Thank you for the information. Delsait (talk) 09:45, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Please do.
Also be aware that there should not be a space between punctuation and a citation, and that TFH stands for "Tri Force Heroes" not "Triforce Heroes". - TonyT S C 09:51, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sources

Please add sources whenever you add claims referencing external media. - TonyT S C 06:08, 21 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sure, is there a source manga/comic template, different from the source book template? Delsait (talk) 06:16, 21 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Nope, it's just the Cite book template. - TonyT S C 06:20, 21 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ok, thanks for the information. I was wondering, do you have any thoughts on how the Hyrule inhabitants should be noted on the page? I was thinking of just having a Beasts section, and then only noting the enemies consistently get dialogue like Moblins, and River Zoras? Delsait (talk) 06:24, 21 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

"Hyrulean" is not a race, nor are demonic-looking characters necessarily demons. Also please refrain from leaving spaces between punctuation and ref tags. - TonyT S C 05:05, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hyrule Historia calls Blind, and those transformed by the Dark World, Demons. In addition to the guide, Hyrule Historia also lists Blind among the "Unfortunate souls" who were lost, and transformed in the Dark World. So he definitely was a hylian/human of some kind transformed. Delsait (talk) 05:07, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Then that claim needs to source Hyrule Historia if it's re-added. - TonyT S C 05:22, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Added it, I'll add more if you want. Delsait (talk) 06:54, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Second reminder to not leave spaces between punctuation and ref tags. Also please don't include links inside citations. These are against policy and must be removed. - TonyT S C 13:28, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Further, please be aware that "{{ALttP}}" is not an acceptable substitute for linking "{{ALttP}}", and similar improper initialisms should be avoided. If you need, there is this list of all the proper initialisms to link to game articles. Also when referring to game subtitles (without linking) such as Ocarina of Time, you must always surround the subtitle with double apostrophes ('') as to properly indicate that it refers to the title. - TonyT S C 14:15, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry for the mistake. Delsait (talk) 18:44, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Please don't make me keep correcting the space. - TonyT S C 00:56, 25 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Again, please correct yourself. - TonyT S C 04:02, 25 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry if there was any confusion this is what I meant should be fixed. It's a bit hard to see, but there was a space like this:
Blind, and his thieves worked at night, <ref>
Where it should instead be:
Blind, and his thieves worked at night,<ref>
There are similar examples like that in the edit, but hopefully that illustrates it well enough. - TonyT S C 03:53, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thank you very much for the explanation. I'll make sure the references come right after a period/comma with no space. Delsait (talk) 04:00, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
