Voice Memory
Voice Memories are a feature available on the Zelda Notes service.[1]
Overview
Voice Memories are voice-acted stories that play within Zelda Notes when Link reaches specific points of interest in Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. They can be located via the Navigation section of Zelda Notes.
Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
In Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Voice Memories are told from the perspective of Princess Zelda. There are a total of 125 Voice Memories that follow Zelda on a pilgrimage throughout Hyrule, during which she warned citizens of the impending Great Calamity and trained to hone her spiritual powers to repel Calamity Ganon.[2]
Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Voice Memories are recounted from three perspectives in Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. In the Sky, they are narrated by Rauru, who is traveling across Hyrule building Shrines of Light to destroy Monsters.[3] On the Surface, they are narrated by Princess Zelda as she works to restore Hyrule following the Great Calamity.[4] Lastly, in the Depths, they are narrated by Master Kohga after he was defeated by Link in Breath of the Wild.[5] There are 240 Voice Memories in total.
