The War in the Depths of Hyrule is an event in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Overview
The War in the Depths begin when link enters Gloom's Lair, Summoning the Demon King's Army. Depending on Link's Progress, the sages will aide Link in his fight against the Army. Link will have to fight the four regional bosses, Colgera, Marbled Gohma, Mucktorok, Queen Gibdo Depending on which Dungeons have been completed, you will skip that boss and it will show up in a cutscene where the Sage(s) will tell Link to head onward while they deal with it. Unless previously defeated in Hyrule Castle, Link will fight Phantom Ganon before being able to fight Demon King Ganondorf.
