The Water Dragon's Scale,(SSSkyward Sword)[1][name references needed] also known as the Water Dragon Scale,(HWHyrule Warriors)[2][3][name references needed] is a recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series.

Location and Uses

Skyward Sword

The Water Dragon's Scale is a relic from Faron, the dragon spirit and protector of the Faron.[4] It allows Link to dive and swim underwater.[5][6] He is also capable of performing a spin maneuver underwater.[7] If Link spins towards the top of the water, he will leap out of it.[8] The scale is obtained as a reward for completing Farore's Silent Realm. It is required to access Lake Floria.[9]

In Hyrule Warriors, the Water Dragon Scale appears as the third tier of the Zora Scale weapon for Ruto. It is associated with the Water Element.
