Weapon Pictures are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Locations and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Weapon Pictures are sold by Symin at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab.[3] They are Pictures of Weapons, Bows, Arrows, and Shields that have been stored on the Lab's Guidance Stone, and buying them will unlock their corresponding Hyrule Compendium entries.[1][4] One Weapon Picture costs 100 Rupees.[5]

The number of Weapon Pictures available to Link is the same as the number of Hyrule Compendium entries that he is missing. There are a total of 163 Weapon Pictures, but this number increases to 164 during The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack. Should Link purchase Weapon Pictures, his Hyrule Compendium will be updated with a corresponding amount of entries.[6] Link can replace his default Weapon Pictures by taking new Pictures of their subjects, but he will be unable to restore them if he does so.[7]

List of Weapon Pictures

The following is a list of all default Weapon Pictures. The One-Hit Obliterator Weapon Picture is exclusive to The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack.
