Characteristics

A Link to the Past

Winders appear in various Dark World Dungeons in A Link to the Past. Their movement is unpredictable, as they change directions randomly whenever they hit an object.

The Minish Cap

Winders appear in various Dungeons in The Minish Cap. They can set Fire to Link if touched.

Phantom Hourglass

Winders are electrically charged and travel along walls in Phantom Hourglass. Touching one will shock and damage Link.

Spirit Tracks

Winders can be defeated by firing an Arrow at their heads in Spirit Tracks. They can also damage Heatoises, as they are weak against Electricity.

A Link Between Worlds

Winders appear in a single room of the Dark Palace alongside several Fire-breathing Red Kodongos. Link must avoid the Winders while finding his way through the labyrinthine room, where the walls are only visible while shrouded in darkness.
