Entrance to the Ship

Related Quests

The Wrecked Ship is an abandoned Ship floating in Zora Cove. It is being repaired by a Hylian in Seesyde Village.[2] After Princess Zelda completes the "Still Missing" Main Quest, she can speak to the Hylian to discover that an electric Monster has claimed it as its den before he could finish repairs.[3] If Zelda offers to help, the Hylian explains that the entrance is sealed tight to prevent anyone from running into the Monster by mistake, and that it will require a lot of force to open it.[4] Zelda can achieve this by pulling on it with Bind. However, prior to the completion of "Still Missing", the entrance will also be covered with tools and cannot be opened.

Themes and Navigation

The interior of the Wrecked Ship is waterlogged and features a diverse variety of aquatic Monsters. Some of these Monsters make use of Electricity, which spreads more easily in the Water. In order to reach the end of the Ship, Princess Zelda must navigate through the lower levels and the sea floor to reemerge on the fore end of the ship. A Statue of a Darknut identical to those found in the Suthorn Ruins can be found inside the Ship. Once Zelda has reached the fore end of the Ship, she can enter the room holding the Monster that has made it its den, Bori.

After Bori is defeated, it will leave behind 100 Rupees and a Piece of Heart. A blue Warp Point will also appear to take Zelda back to the ship's stern. Afterward, Zelda can report her success to the Hylian to be rewarded with a Fairy Bottle.[5] He resolves to continue repairing the Ship now that it is free from Bori.[6]
