Zelda Notes offers various features based on the game that is being played. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required to use the Zelda Notes service.

Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

• Voice Memories — additional voice-acted stories that will play upon reaching specific points of interest.
• Navigation — a voice-assisted direction system that leads to specific points of interest. It can be used to reveal the location of Koroks on the Map.
• My Play Data — a summary of play history, achievements made in the game, and statistics. Various Medals can be collected from completing certain conditions in-game.
• Global Play Data — an aggregate summary of player achievements across the globe.
• Daily Bonus — a lottery system that generates an Added Effect at random in-game. These are not granted immediately and can be redeemed by activating the related Key Item.
• amiibo — a tracker for amiibo figures that have been scanned in-game. Scanning individual amiibo a specific total amount of times will allow for an additional scan to be performed in the same day.
• Photo Studio — an image editor that allows users to crop and stamp Photos taken with the Camera. These can be shared via QR codes.
• Item Sharing — a sharing feature to Deposit and Withdraw Weapons, Bows, Shields, Materials, and Rupees to and from other players in the form of a QR code. Accessible as a Key Item.
• Autobuild Sharing — a sharing feature that allows players to send and receive Autobuild designs via QR codes. Up to 60 Autobuild designs can be stored on the Zelda Notes service at a time.

Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2

• Gossip Quests — small quests that require the player to find specific locations in the game, to earn points.
• Hall of Fallen Foes
• Today's Record — a summary of the player's achievements and stats on a particular day in chronological order, with screenshots automatically taken and sent to the app.
• My Play Data

• Threads of Time
• amiibo
• Play Ocarina - a virtual ocarina to play Songs with, whether freely or from Music Scores from Gossip Quests. Custom partitions can be created, saved and shared via QR codes.
• Ocarina of Time Quiz — a quiz testing the player's knowledge on the game. It can be played for free once a day, with any further attempts costing Rupees sent to the app from Shops in the game.
