The Cave at Toronbo Shores is a location in Link's Awakening.[1]

Features and Overview

The Cave at Toronbo Shores is a Cave in east Toronbo Shores, behind a Cracked Wall on the cliff face south of Sale's House o' Bananas. It contains several bags, baskets, buckets, desks, and wood planks with various Objects sitting on and in them them. There is a pool of greenish Water in the middle of the Cave, with a wide desk that has a blue cloth draped over it sitting in the pool. A pair of Torches are attached to the back wall.[note 1]

After Link completes the Trading Quest and obtains the Magnifying Lens, he can see a friendly Goriya serving as an Item Trader in the Cave, behind the desk. When spoken to, the Item Trader offers Link use of the Boomerang he found washed up on the Shores in exchange for the Item currently assigned to his X or Y button.[2]

Notes

  1. In all versions of Link's Awakening prior to Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch, the room is mostly empty, with the various Objects sitting around the room not present. A Bed sits against the left wall of the Cave and the desk is missing its cloth. In Link's Awakening DX, the Water is blue instead of green.
