Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Features and Overview

The Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower is a Skyview Tower in the Gerudo Highlands.[2] Link can use the Tower to launch himself into the Sky. The first time he does so, he will be able to scan the area with his Purah Pad, which grants him Map data for the Gerudo Desert, the southern portion of the Gerudo Highlands, the Gerudo Desert Sky, and the southern part of the Gerudo Highlands Sky.[3][4] It also features a Travel Point that Link can Warp to.

After all Skyview Towers are activated by Purah and Josha, lights will appear around the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. When Link first arrives at the Tower, he will find that it is malfunctioning. Nearby, Sawson is trapped on the lower end of a rudimentary Elevator.[5] He explains that he came to fix the Skyview Tower, but the Elevator he needs to reach it is broken as well.[6][7] Using Ultrahand, Link can attach Objects to the end of the Elevator's pulley system, which will cause the platform Sawson is standing on to rise up. Once there, he thanks Link for fixing the Elevator and proceeds to fix the Tower.[8] Sawson recognizes that one of the mechanisms has become stuck due to the Heat in Gerudo Canyon, so he replaces several parts with heat-resistant counterparts.[9] As a reward for his help, Sawson gives Link Chilly Steamed Mushrooms.[10] He also warns Link about the heat of the Gerudo Desert.[11] Following this, Link will be able to use the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower.

Do you see the metal bit up there? There used to be a platform attached to that. If you added enough weight, it'd go down...and I'd go up. But the platform is gone. There's nothing attached to that metal bit, so I'm stuck down here. I obviously can't fix the Skyview Tower. Wish I knew of some way to get to the top..." — Sawson (Tears of the Kingdom)
