Korok Grove is a large grove in the Great Hyrule Forest Depths. It is only accessible from the southeast, near Minshi Grove. Korok Grove corresponds to Korok Forest on the Surface.
A secluded portion of the Korok Grove sits inside the roots of the Great Deku Tree and can only be accessed by descending from the Deku Tree Chasm in the Great Deku Tree's Navel. Inside, there is a spacious chamber where a Gloom Spawn lurks, hurting the Great Deku Tree.[2] When it is defeated, a Phantom Ganon will appear to challenge Link. Upon its defeat, the Gloom infecting the Great Deku Tree will disappear, and its climate will return to the normal conditions of the Korok Forest. With the threat removed, three Koroks will descend from the Deku Tree Chasm to thank Link and tell him that the Great Deku Tree wishes to speak to him.[3]
A trail of Mighty Bananas runs from the Ramobnukas Lightroot into the Forest Coliseum further in the Great Hyrule Forest Depths. It is revealed to be a trap set by Yiga Footsoldiers to kill Link when he sets foot into the Forest Coliseum.[4]
