Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
Mount Rhoam is located on Hyrule Ridge, wrapping around the northwestern end of Ludfo's Bog alongside Upland Lindor. The Seres Scablands are situated directly to the mountain's south. An unmarked path connects the peak of Mount Rhoam to the Footrace Check-In nearby. There is a small pond on top of Mount Rhoam, which is fed by a Waterfall north of the mountain's peak. A single Updraft near the peak allows Link to ascend part of the mountain with little effort. Many of the patches of Grass higher up on Mount Rhoam are differently colored than that elsewhere on Hyrule Ridge, being closer to red or brown.
During the Foot Race Mini-Game, Link is tasked with reaching two Big Flags on Mount Rhoam before Konba.[4] While competing in the Race, Chuchus and Electric Chuchus will pop out of the ground in front of him, and a Bomb Barrel will explode. If Link manages to reach the goal before Konba, he will receive a Purple Rupee as a reward.[5]
A Monster Stronghold has been settled on the southern foothills of Mount Rhoam. After defeating all of the Monsters inside, Link will be able to open its Treasure Chest, which contains a Knight's Claymore. In Master Mode, wooden platforms held afloat by Sky Octoroks can be found above the pond on Mount Rhoam. The Chest on these platforms is made of metal, and it contains an Edge of Duality.
Three additional Treasure Chests are hidden on Mount Rhoam. In the mountain's pond, Link can find both a wooden and a metal Chest, the latter of which must be pulled from the Water using the Magnesis Rune. They contain a bundle of five Shock Arrows and a Knight's Shield, respectively. The third Chest is made of stone, and it is hidden on the western foothills of the mountain. Link can retrieve a Purple Rupee from inside.
There are a total of two Korok Seed Puzzles on Mount Rhoam. The first is a Natural Hiding Spot, which takes the form of a Rock on the mountain's peak that Link must pick up. The second Puzzle is also a Natural Hiding Spot Rock, situated on top of the Waterfall north of the peak. Whenever Link solves one of these Puzzles, a Korok will appear and give him a Korok Seed.[6]

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
Mount Rhoam appears as part of the Hyrule Ridge stage during the "Air and Lightning" Scenario. After saving Urbosa from Thunderblight Ganon, she uses Divine Beast Vah Naboris's Lightning to destroy the top of Mount Rhoam, creating Updrafts that allow the Warriors to access Divine Beast Vah Medoh.[7][8] Due to Urbosa's exhaustion, Riju accompanies the other Warriors as they head towards Mount Rhoam.[3] Along the way, a Rito Captain informs them of a White-Maned Lynel atop the mountain,[9] and Zelda states it would be dangerous for them to Paraglide on the Updrafts before defeating it.[10] Once this is done, one Warrior will be able to ride the largest Updraft on Mount Rhoam, allowing them to board Vah Medoh.[11]
Nomenclature
Mount Rhoam is named for Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule, the late King of Hyrule who was slain during the second Great Calamity in Breath of the Wild.
