Z-Targeting Needs To Go Away

Most of the images in this gallery have enemies which have the Z-Target ring around them. I remember Steve wants to replace ZU's gallery, and have images which also do not have the Z-Targeting ring. So, shouldn't we replace most of these images? User:Austin2862/sig 18:40, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

I talked this over with GKANG awhile back, and I think for a gallery as such, I think consistency is very important. All the enemies don't have artwork, so that is out of the question. We can get game models for all of the enemies, but then that leaves us in a situation where all the images are different sizes and we have to use the gallery feature instead of the custom style we have here. At Zelda Dungeon we used these quick links images for our enemy page we made years ago, and I suggested it to GKANG when chatting with him. I think it works better with the mini screenshots. The Z-targeting... probably better off without it, but I think it is much better to have the zoomed in screenshots. I say we revert back to the old style, since it looked much cleaner and smoother. Garahna and Odolwa Insects

Whenever I go to look at this page for drawing reference it always bugs me that neither the Garahna or Odolwa's insects are included in the gallery. Is the reason because they really aren't considered their own separate enemies since they are simply underlings of their boss? But the same argument could be made for the Poe underlings from the The Wind Waker's Enemies Gallery page as well. Sorry if I'm just nit-picking. --IceyPinkLemons 20:21, 19 July 2012 (EDT)

I'm sure they were there at one point. Someone must have removed them for some reason. --Shadow Reaper 21:47, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
I don't think there is a reason. My guess is they were just forgotten and no one thought to add them in the first place. I'll go ahead and add them. — Hylian King [*] 08:15, 20 July 2012 (EDT)

Man eating flower

I'd like to add this image File:MM Carnivorous Lily Pad Model.png to the gallery but the only snag I'm hitting is the name. It's unnamed in the strategy guide and I'd like to avoid the whole bee debacle (honestly I didn't know they were referred to as Bees in TP) again. So what should we call them? Carnivorous Lily Pads, Man Eating Flowers, Carnivorous Plants? Any suggestions would be welcome. Oh and on a side note, were Big Skulltulas in MM? I didn't see them in the strategy guide. Oh well thanks in advance. --Shadow Reaper 11:56, 13 August 2012 (EDT)

Well, all those names are equally fanon, but since we've already established in the Lily Pad article that they are lily pads, I would go with "Carnivorous Lily Pad." That seems like the best fit to me.
Also in the MM text dump there's no mention of Big Skulltulas. If they did appear in the game there would at least be a Tatl comment on them, but there isn't. — Hylian King [*] 12:37, 13 August 2012 (EDT)
Okay, thanks HK, I honestly couldn't recall seeing Big Skulltulas or not in MM (been a while on that one) I'll add the Carnivorous Lily Pad in a moment. --Shadow Reaper 23:06, 13 August 2012 (EDT)
