Merge

I think these two Maku Tree pages need to be merged. While they are slightly different, we've really been following the trend of placing things with the same name on the same page (see Ghost Ship and Fire Temple for two examples.) While these two characters are slightly different, they serve the same basic purpose. Opinions?—Justin^(Talk) 19:43, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

I don't think they should be merged. They don't appear in the same game, haven't the same personality, haven't the same Essences, etc. But it can be an interesting merge. Jeangabin 08:39, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Considering they have the same function, both in gameplay and story significance(besides the creepy aboriphilia) and they are from two games already very much linked story-wise and features. Besides that, the Deku trees are a bit more significant and they have just one page. PureLocke 18:17, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

A merge also gets rid of unwieldly page titles and disambiguation pages. They're clearly meant to be analogous characters and just having two subsections would be better for it. It's clear that they're two individuals of the same species of tree, and they serve the same function in both games. Ganondorfdude11 04:56, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
