Spirit Tracks
For Spirit Tracks, I think the bosses who give you the dungeon's weapon are treated like mini-bosses, and I've added the ones I remembered. For the Tower of Spirits, though, would the Geozard Chief be considered a mini-boss because you're technically only halfway through the dungeon, or a full boss because it requires a boss key?KrytenKoro 22:34, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
Move to Midboss?
While the ALBW guide doesn't mention these, the Skyward Sword guide refers to these foes as Midbosses. I believe the Twilight Princess guide also calls them Mid Bosses, and the Ocarina of Time Soundtrack calls the theme for them Middle Boss Battle. I'm not sure if the miniboss term is ever used for these foes or not, officially. Does anyone know if it is? User:Fizzle8094/sig 02:37, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- The problem with that is that not all minibosses are midbosses. For example, Twilit Bloat; what exactly is time midboss of. The nice thing about the term miniboss is that it can refer to any boss that isn't a main boss. Mid boss is too constraining. Although while we're at it, we might as well redirect midboss to miniboss. Champion of Nayru (talk) 21:21, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
