Little Help

Can I get your opinion on [[File:Kika.png|This picture]]. I have mine on it's talk page and i think it should be deleted. --David ^{(T : C)} 15:11, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Also, as a second note, I noticed that you seem to be, uh... a little confused on how to properly use the templates. You don't need to copy and paste the entire coding for the template; it's much simpler than that. :P Simply put the name of the template in between two sets of curly brackets, like {{this}}. This adds references the template directly and adds it to the page. I'm gonna go see if the template pages have specialized instructions; if not, I'll update the pages with template-specific directions for use (some of the templates require a little extra typing). Grammer

Hey there. Just wanted to let you know; it always makes me smile when I see your edits correcting spelling/grammatical mistakes, since you always mis-spell the word grammar

It seems more ironic that none of the ones I've seen are even errors, it's just things like armour, favour, and colour... England's spellings of English words. =P --Douken 00:21, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

On ZeldaWiki, we are supposed to use the American spellings. Eventually I just decided to change all of it in one go. I used the search and found every instance of the English spellings on articles. I left the ones on talk pages alone. But, occasionally I find other grammar mistakes. Some of the more recent ones were sentences changing tense mid-sentence, twice.
I've always been good with grammar. But I like to get a little "grammer" in too. It was actually my English teacher who gave me the idea of using grammer instead of grammar. He found that on someone's paper, about the quality of grammar in today's society, she misspelled every instance of grammar as "grammer". He could not help but laugh about it, and he never missed an opportunity to bring it up. Inspired, I decided to intentionally misspell grammar as grammer on this site whenever I corrected bad grammar. I was planning on stopping when someone finially said something. That took longer than I thought.
Everyone be warned. I now intend to slip in a grammer or two every once and awhile. I'm glad I got some laughs, and I hope to get more!--Emma 00:46, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, technically, the Featured Content Disqualification page states that "you may make one vote a month"; nothing mentioned about one article and one picture. :P HOWEVER, I thought about that as well, so that's why I didn't tell you to remove a vote myself... Reminder Templates

Yes you can see them at the top of my talk page. I think it should become standard practice to place these on a user's talk page after he or she uses a month's vote for a featured picture or featured article. The user should place them up himself/herself but other need not be afraid to do it for them. It is very easy to forget whether or not you have voted. With these templates, one need only to check one's talk page. Once the next month rolls around, and the user has voted on something else for that month, the templates should be updated to reflect the new month. Gamecube Startup

The strangest thing happened when I started up my Gamecube. Instead of the normal sound when Gamecube logo is rolling out, I got babies giggling and laughing! It happened after Majora's Mask locked up. Does anyone know what just happened?--Emma 17:16, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

You were holding down Z when you started the system. I don't remember how I found this out... probably on accident. The sound changes again if you start the system while holding down Z on all four controllers. It's trippy, yo. --Ando 17:21, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

My old Gamecube fried out too. That's how I got a copy of Collector's Edition. And about two years ago that one went. The first time was a defect. Since the warranty was expired, I figured it was better to get a new one than spending $100 US plus on repairs. Second time was a thunder storm. That day I really felt like an idiot. I had it plugged in an outlet directly instead of on a surge protector (and no the Gamecube was not on) . I let you fill in the details. I'm hoping that my current one lasts longer than the other ones did.
Since I'm venting I might as well say that I had ordered Twilight Princess for GCN five times!!! Every time the store (trying a different one each time) either lost my order (how in the hell do they do that?) or they "forgot" to reserve a copy for me in the next shippment. I finally managed to get it from Amazon, in March of 2007!!)--Emma 22:37, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

If you read my userpage, then you know that my high school graduation ceremony is tomorrow. My graduation party -- clean, no alcohol, drugs or crap like that -- is tomorrow too. I'm going to have to wash our garage floor -- pressure washer... heh, heh ^_^ -- right now. So if anyone asks me anything, I might not respond until four or five hours from now. I'll be absent most of tomorrow -- but there is so much I have do here :(. Oh, well. This site isn't going anywhere. But high school graduation (should ^_^) only comes once. That trip didn't go as planned. It rained almost the entire time! For five days straight! Luckily, I bought a Nintendo DS and a copy of Phantom Hourglass on the way up. Seeing as it rained -- THE WHOLE DAMN TIME -- I managed to complete the game.
I don't know our router's WEP number -- don't ask me, I not the idiot that lost it -- and I can't reset the router anytime soon. So no wireless play for me, for the time being.

Bright Orange
