Savage Lynel Shields are considered the ultimate Lynel Shield, known to be wielded by White-Maned Lynels.[1] They are also used by Silver Lynels and Golden Lynels. Not only are they capable of defending the most brutal of attacks, they can also cut down powerful foes with a deflection (dealing 21 damage).[1] They belong to the Lynel Gear equipment archetype, which includes all Weapons created by Lynels.[3]

As they are made of metal, Savage Lynel Shields will attract Lightning if they are equipped during a thunderstorm. They also sink if they are dropped in water, but they can be picked up and manipulated with the Magnesis Rune. Finally, they will not burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
