:::::That doesn't mean that Tri Force Heroes "shouldn't" be though. That split page is obviously very much a work-in-progress. The other sections haven't been italicized yet, as they should. It's not an issue that Tri Force Heroes happens to be italicized. 02:15, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

I personally consider Hyrule Warriors and Link's Crossbow Training to be placed in a 4th timeline, where Ganon was sealed after he received the Triforce of Power in Ocarina of Time, scattering his soul and body across Time, Space, and Dimensions.

Link's Crossbow Training would be placed in that timeline because Linkle was originally going to be the main character of it. Webmetz

Rumoured (to be taken with a pinch of salt) after TLOZ: Adventure of Link (most likely), or one of either: after Phantom Hourglass and before Spirit Tracks, or a separate timeline after Phantom Hourglass without Spirit Tracks. Thoughts? I'd go with the former (after Zelda 2). LukeIMG19

:In the memory link get from the Sacred Ground Ruins Zelda says "Whether skyward bound, adrift in time, or steeped in the glowing embers of twilight..." making a clear reference to SS, OoT, and TP. Given this reference, and the 10,000+ years between Ganon appearances, I think it's now safe to say this takes place at the end of the Child Timeline, after FSA. Should this be added to the timeline? Or should we wait for Nintendo to officially announce where it goes? D0xis (talk) 05:42, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

:::I disagree. All of the points you've listed are easily explainable in the 10,000+ year gap. Korok and Rito evolution, TONS of characters we've never seen or heard of... The decline of the kingdom is explained very early on in the game. (trying to avoid spoilers)

::I'm going to stop this before the argument starts here too. This debate has been going on in the ZU Discord for some time now. There is evidence that places BotW in ALL the timelines. While the references to the Child Timeline are the most prominent, we can't simply ignore the fact the the other references are present. Quite frankly, there is too much information, and too much debate. We have to wait for Nintendo to tell us. ~D0xis of the V0id~(T|C) 14:25, 11 March 2017 (UTC)

:::“The kingdom of Hyrule has a long and storied past, where the events of one era may just be ancient myths in another. Since olden times, the land has repeatedly undergone periods of prosperity and decline, so much so that it is unknown whether the legends passed down are actually true, or simply fairy tales.” This section was taken from the book The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Master Works. It was released only in Japan, and I don't know if the translation from Japanese is correct. But if it is, BotW will be placed at the very end of the timeline as a whole, and the branch (Child Hero, Adult Hero, Fallen Hero) will not matter.

::I suppose that's true. I was just suggesting the possibility is all. I had made the mistake of forgetting Encyclopedia states the Oracle Link as the same as ALTTP because when I was skimming through it I read a number of things that very heavily imply it's a random adventurer who's visting Hyrule castle. I think it's just a poor choice of wording that makes it confusing. I had just wondered if anyone else had noticed this before. == Proposed outline ==
Only a rough outline:

## Creation
## Ancient Battle
## Skyward Sword
## Founding of Hyrule
## Hero of Men
## The Minish Cap
## Four Swords
## Ocarina of Time
# Fallen Hero Timeline
## Imprisoning War
## A Link to the Past
## Link's Awakening
## Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages
## A Link Between Worlds
## Tri Force Heroes
## The Tragedy of Princess Zelda I
## The Legend of Zelda
## The Adventure of Link
# Child Link Timeline
## Majora's Mask
## Ganondorf's Execution
## Twilight Princess
## Four Swords Adventures
# Adult Link Timeline
## Great Flood
## The Wind Waker
## Phantom Hourglass
## Spirit Tracks
# Great Calamity
## Breath of the Wild
The notion of eras presented in HH is vague and unhelpful. Using game titles on the same header level will cause the TOC to give a clear overview of each game's position in the timeline.
Each game summary is currently 2-3 times longer than it needs to be to effectively explain its role in the timeline as a whole. Makes it hard to see the forest for the trees. HylianKing (talk) 03:47, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
Tears of the Kingdom
How would the history of the Zonai and their role in founding the kingdom of Hyrule (not to mention the rise of the first Ganondorf) fit into this? Obviously it would have to go around the Age of Prosperity, but it would still need a section for the First Imprisoning War. :Incorrect it would be at the end of one of the timelines because this is clearly a Reestablishment of Hyrule Ganondorf first appeared in OOT he can’t before. Kevin Triforce (talk) 03:56, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
::Should also mention Sidon references Ruth and OOT as well and we know there can’t be two Ganondorfs at once so there’s that. <font color="green">Kevin</font> <font color="green">Talk</font> 03:07, 25 June 2023 (UTC)

:::I don't believe that's a founded claim that there can't be more than one Ganondorf, especially since Ganon(dorf) has used alter egos in the past like Agahnim. There have been games with multiple Zeldas and multiple Links, so I don't think there's anything that would prevent more than one Ganondorf from popping up other than simple circumstance. :::To my knowledge it never says that. Page 401 says that there has not been another male Gerudo leader but this is very different to that claim. What page are you deriving this information from? TriforceTony (talk) 12:52, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
::::That but regardless I highly doubt a Male Gerudo wouldn’t make themselves a leader but anyway that also means OOT has to be before because we know a Ganondorf was leader then as well <font color="green">Kevin</font> <font color="green">Talk</font> 23:02, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
