The [[Red Tektite]], a weaker counterpart of the [[Blue Tektite]], is found in the [[Death Mountain]] region. They are weaker healthwise than the [[Blue Tektite]] is, however besides that and the color difference they are very similar in behavior and structure. They are also much less in numbers while [[Blue Tektite]]s are far more common. They can be flipped over with the [[Megaton Hammer]].

It takes two strikes from the {{Term|TMC|Smith's Sword|link}} to defeat them, though once {{Term|TMC|Link}} completes the {{Term|TMC|Cave of Flames|link}} and obtains the {{Term|TMC|White Sword|link}} from {{Term|TMC|Melari|link}}, {{Plural|TMC|Red Tektite}} can be defeated with just one strike.
