This transforms him into a mysterious and powerful warrior resembling a [[Hylian]]. It is one of four [[Transformation#Majora's Mask|mask transformations]] in the game.

Link obtains the Fierce Deity's Mask after he trades the twenty non-transforming masks to the four [[Moon Children]] [[Inside the Moon]]. The final child sitting by the [[tree]] will give Link the Fierce Deity's Mask after noticing all his other masks are gone.<ref>{{Cite|You don't have any masks left, do you? Well, let's do something else.|Moon Child|MM}}</ref> Wearing this mask enables Link to transform into the Fierce Deity only during boss battles.<ref>{{Cite|Fierce Deity's Mask - Wear it with (C). In {{MM3D}}, Link can also transform into the Fierce Deity inside the two [[Fishing Hole]]s. If he attempts to leave when in Fierce Deity form, the [[Fishing Hole Man]] will keep the young hero from doing so, wondering how he got in there in the first place.<ref>{{Cite|Hey. Hey! In the Fierce Deity form, Link gains greater strength and range in his attacks as well as certain new abilities. Because the Fierce Deity wields a large, [[Swords of Majora's Mask#Fierce Deity Sword|double-handed, helix-edged Sword]], he cannot use a [[Shield]], although this disadvantage is compensated for by the Sword's superior power. Link can also use the Sword to release [[Sword Beam]]s when [[Targeting System|targeting]] an enemy.

 

In {{SSBB}}, Fierce Deity Link appears as a [[Sticker]]. In {{SSB4}}, he also appears as one of Link's alternative costumes.

In {{HW}}, Fierce Deity Link appears as part of [[Young Link]]'s [[Mask#Hyrule Warriors|Mask]] weapon type moveset. During [[Focus Spirit]], Link can temporarily transform into the Fierce Deity to perform powerful attacks before reverting to his normal self. It also includes all other bonuses characteristic to Focus Spirit. This form of Focus Spirit is unusual in that it lasts longer than any other Warrior's. While in Fierce Deity form, Young Link is able to shoot Sword Beams with most of his swings, but generally shares all of his original form's moves. He can also use the {{Term|OoT3D|Ocarina of Time (Item)|link}} to convert his [[Special Attack]] Gauge into more [[Magic Power|Magic]] to refill his [[Magic Meter]], thus extending his time in this form. Young Link's Focus Attack features him slicing the Moon in half, damaging enemies around him.

Fierce Deity Link also appears as an alternate costume for Link in the {{MM|-}} DLC Pack.

In {{SSBU}}, {{Term|MM|Fierce Deity Link}} appears as a {{Term|SSBU|Spirit|link}} with the ability, Sword Attack Up, which raises the attack power of a {{Term|SSBU|Fighter|link}} when they are wielding a sword.

*The Fierce Deity is the representation of the feelings of all people populating the land of [[Termina]]. This representation is reinforced by the fact that it was necessary to exchange all the masks obtained thanks to the different interactions, actions and help provided to the characters of the game in order to obtain the Fierce Deity's Mask.
