In {{OoA}}, a Goron Elder is patriarch of the Gorons in [[Rolling Ridge]] who becomes trapped beneath some fallen rocks in the past.<ref>{{Cite|It's terrible! The Goron Elder has been buried alive under some rocks! What do we do?|Goron|OoA}}</ref> The other Gorons tried to break away the [[rock]]s, but even with their strength, they could not break it. They require the use of a [[Bomb Flower]],<ref name= "Buried"/> which had not been seen in years. In the present, the [[Great Moblin]] built his fortress on the western peak of Rolling Ridge and kept all Bomb Flowers for himself.<ref>{{Cite|Ever since that big pig--the Great Moblin-- came, we haven't been able to grow the Gorons' famed Bomb Flowers.|Goron|OoA}}</ref> Once Link defeats the Great Moblin, the Gorons have their Bomb Flowers returned to them. As thanks, Link is rewarded with a Bomb Flower which he takes into the past to free the Goron Elder, who admits that he was not in any trouble at all.<ref>{{Cite|Huh? What's wrong, brothers? Upon meeting him, [[Princess Zelda]] is quite intimidated, and tries to encourage Link to make a good first impression.<ref name= "Impression"/> After teh Goron Child informs his grandfather about Link's [[Mega Ice]] quest necessary to qualm the fire geysers in the village,<ref>{{Cite|This boy fixed the path to the village, Gramps!
