Add Information, help build the ZU Wiki! You can add a new article by replacing the text "Main_Page" in the URL of this page with the name of the page you want to create. From there, just click the "edit" tab and begin adding to the ZUWiki database! About ZUWiki Categories For now, six categories exist: a Zelda category (Category:Zelda), a Community category for anything pertaining to the forums or chat room, or about users on ZU (Category:Community), and finally a miscellanious category (Category:Misc) for anything else. Recetnly created categpories include Zelda Community (Category:Zelda Community) for posting information about other Zelda sites, Musak (Category:Musak) for articles about bands and music, and Gaming (Category:Gaming) for other random gaming tidbits that do not go into the Zelda category. Please note that we require the entries in the "Zelda" category to be of a more serious and informative nature as opposed to the two other categories, which are more for fun than anything else. Uploading files to the Wiki When you go to any place on the ZUWiki, you will always see the left menu Toolbox. Under the toolbox, there is an option to upload a file, conveniently titled "Upload file." Aternativly, follow this link here. When you reach the page, click the Browse button and select the file you wish to upload. If you feel you want to, you can add a summary or short decription of the file. When you are ready, click the "Upload file" button. The preferred formats are JPEG for photographic images, PNG for drawings and other iconic images, and OGG for sounds. Please name your files descriptively to avoid confusion. To include the image in a page, use a link in the form File:File.jpg or alt text or Media:file.ogg for sounds. Please note that as with wiki pages, others may edit or delete your uploads if they think it serves the project, and you may be blocked from uploading if you abuse the system.
