The '''Thief Girl''' is a character in {{ALBW}}. She is imprisoned in [[Thieves' Hideout (A Link Between Worlds)|Thieves' Hideout]] after she discovers the location of the portrait of the [[sage]] [[Osfala]]. Link rescues her from the dungeon, and, in return, she takes Link to the portrait of Osfala.

I'll show you where it's hidden.|Thief Girl|ALBW}}</ref> However, as they are trapped inside the hideout, Link must complete the dungeon with the Thief Girl's help.


After being rescued by Link, she leaves [[Thieves' Town (A Link Between Worlds)|Thieves' Town]] and hides in a cave south of the [[vacant house]]. When Link visits her, she is wearing a mask and gives him [[Rupee]]s as an additional reward for rescuing her.
After escaping the hideout, she leads Link to a house right of the {{Term|ALBW|Thieves' Hideout (Dungeon)}} entrance where the portrait is hidden. *When receiving Rupees from her, the Thief Girl says "How about we just keep this a secret to everybody, okay?." This is a reference to the iconic quote from {{TLoZ}}, [[Iconic Quotes from The Legend of Zelda#"It's a secret to everybody"|"It's a secret to everybody."]]
*When receiving the Rupees after the Thieves' Town Dungeon, the Thief Girl says "How about we just keep this a secret to everybody, okay?" This refers to the very first ''The Legend of Zelda'', which had several secret entrances to caves where a person would give Link an amount of rupees, saying, "It's a secret to everybody."
*The mask that the Thief Girl wears resembles a [[Pikku]].
