*The term "Hyrulian" can be applied to any sentient being in the Kingdom of Hyrule. It is not a description of race. Consider that a "Canadian" may be Caucasian, East Asian, Indian, Aboriginal, Latin, etc. and still be a Canadian. In the same way, a "Hyrulian" may be Gerudo, Goron, Zora, Hylain, Deku, etc. and still by Hyrulian. | |||
*The Hylia People/Hylains had died out before ALttP, regardless of your timeline. The game text states that the race has vanished. Pointy ears do not a Hylian make. That is never stated. All Hylians hae pointy ears, but that doesn't mean that all Non-Hylains have rounded ears. | |||
