Opals can be found inside snowballs when they shatter. Opals are used by Great Fairies to upgrade Links' Armor.

  • Total Opals needed to upgrade the Opal Earrings: 22 (5, 8, 16, 20)
  • Total Opals needed to upgrade the Hero of the Wind Set: 57 (1, 3, 5, 10) x3
  • Total Opals needed to upgrade the Zora Set: 15 (0, 0, 0, 5) x3
