I agree that it's been claimed, but by people who think that a whale is a type of fish. While Jabu-Jabu may have some whale-like properties, its only real common characteristic is that it is a large, sea-going creature. It looks hardly anything like a baleen whale. | |||
The comment about Oshus was merely to illustrate that ''that'' is what a whale would look similar to, ''not'' Jabu-Jabu, which has always been described as a fish. | |||
Fish and whales are about as far apart as you can get on the vertebrate scale - Volvagia is literally closer related to Jabu-Jabu than the Wind Fish or Oshus are. (Yes, I know they didn't necessarily "evolve" the same way there, but the point remains) | |||
It is a silly assertion that should not be encouraged, it should be corrected. One is a winged baleen whale. The other is seemingly a whale shark or Megamouth Shark. | |||
