I personally believe that there's little fault with the theory itself; whether from an in-game headset or not, no one can deny that there is actual human speech in the song itself ''(Japanese, to be precise)'', a first for the Zelda series. The way it was placed into the article was incorrect, sure ''(improper referencing, mainly)'', but that's easily fixed and left in the article.
