Zelda Video is a 2003 Japanese documentary on the history of The Legend of Zelda series.

Features

The documentary begins with the presentation of The Wind Waker, the most recent game in the series during the year of its release. Afterwards, a retrospective of The Legend of Zelda series is presented, including all games released up to The Wind Waker, even including Ancient Stone Tablets. Throughout the documentary, interview excerpts with different personalities from the video game industry and media are shown, telling their memories of The Legend of Zelda series throughout the years. These personalities include game analysts, representatives from Famitsu and Capcom, Scha Dara Parr MC Bose, and members of Nintendo, including the series director Eiji Aonuma and the series creator Shigeru Miyamoto.

During the epilogue, each personality describes their thoughts on the "Zelda essence," concluding with a lengthy interview with Miyamoto. As a bonus after the credits, a "secret Triforce scene" is shown, featuring the Japanese Zelda rap commercial for A Link to the Past.
