The Sheikah are a race of humans. They swore loyalty to the Hylians and fought battles for the Hylians during the Unifying War. Most of the Sheikahs died in battle, but a few survived.
One of the most famous Sheikahs is Impa, Zelda's caretaker and the sage of the Shadow Temple. Sheik also varifies that he is of the Sheikah tribe but this is unconfirmed.
