In A Link to the Past, the Rabbit Fang is a small, corrupted creature that is found in the Great Swamp. These little monsters can be defeated by any weapon in Link's arsenal. Additionally, removing a patch of grass they are about to jump out of or land in will cause the Rabbit Fang to lie on the ground helpless. If Link touches the helpless Rabbit Fang, it will give him a power-up item or Rupees that Link would have received for slaying it and say "All right! Take it, thief!" while disappearing in the typical skull-shaped puff of smoke. It is one of the few defeatable monsters that can speak. Rabbit Fangs no longer appear in the Great Swamp after a certain point in the game.
