in [[Ocarina of time]] it is possible to make a Deku stick not break after its use. to do this you had to take out the Deku stick and preform a [[jump slash]] at the wall at a slight angle. if done correctly the Deku stick should hit the wall twice and the top half will break off however link will still be carrying the broken portion. The broken portion of the stick can be used normally but will not break. notes: the broken Deku stick can not be used to light torches and will turn back in to a regular Deku stick if put away, performing this glitch consumes 1 Deku stick. if done with only 1 Deku stick remaining then you wont be able to swing it but you can still perform a jump attack.

Deku Stick

Deku Sticks are items from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Deku Sticks are the harvested stalks of Deku Babas. Though most famously used as a makeshift torch, Deku Sticks are to a child what the Biggoron Sword is to an adult. Deku Sticks deal twice as much damage as Kokiri Swords.
