Their fightning style is very similar to those of the [[Stalfos]] in [[The Legend of Zelda:Ocarine of Time]]. If it gets to you it will latch on to your face taking hearths away in a very similar way to that of the [[ReDead]] and [[Gibdos]] in [[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask]] and [[The Legend of Zelda:Ocarine of Time]]; just run away until it comes back to its body. Then when he falls down on the ground, shine the light on him using your [[Mirror Shield]] to defeat him. Afterwards, he will teach you the [[Elegy of Emptiness]] before disappearing. Both Igos and his lackeys run away from you when you step into any of the rays of light.
