When the GameCube was new, around 2002 or 2003, my mother bought me a GameCube, along with Finding Nemo and Mario Kart: Double Dash. For some reason, ''The Wind Waker'' came free with the system (This was at Toys "R" Us). ''The Wind Waker'' became my favorite video game (except for maybe SimCity 4) and for a time, it was the only thing I played on the GameCube. However, I could never get past the Forsaken Fortress, and once my sister got me to Dragon Roost Island, I could never figure out how to get into the dungeon. Then the disc died, because I abused it too much. Before that happened, however, my sister got me into Pokémon, and I became interested in retro games. This led me to discover the Mario series. A long time after all this, in 2009 or 2010, I decided to try ''Ocarina of Time''. When I first played that game, I immediately became interested in it. ''Ocarina of Time'' rekindled my love for ''The Wind Waker'', and for Christmas, I received a copy of ''The Wind Waker''. About Me
Hello everyone. My name is Paul Choi. I was born in or near Seoul, South Korea in 1996. My family and I moved to Los Angeles after the birth of my sister in 1998. A few years later, my family and I moved to Granada Hills, a suburb of LA, where I currently live.
How I got into the Zelda series
When the GameCube was new, around 2002 or 2003, my mother bought me a GameCube, along with Finding Nemo and Mario Kart: Double Dash. For some reason, The Wind Waker came free with the system (This was at Toys "R" Us). The Wind Waker became my favorite video game (except for maybe SimCity 4) and for a time, it was the only thing I played on the GameCube. A long time after all this, in 2009 or 2010, I decided to try Ocarina of Time. When I first played that game, I immediately became interested in it. Ocarina of Time rekindled my love for The Wind Waker, and for Christmas, I received a copy of The Wind Waker. From there, I began looking at other Zelda games, and now I am a Zelda fan!
