The Eastern Abbey is a ruin surrounding the [[Ja Baij Shrine]] on the eastern edge of the [[Great Plateau]]. The Eastern Abbey contains several broken down [[Guardian (Breath of the Wild)|Guardian]]s, which can be looted for Ancient [[Material#Breath of the Wild|Material]]s. The formal entryway to the Ja Baij Shrine is blocked by a [[Cracked Tile]] wall, which can be broken with a Guardian's laser, [[Bomb Arrow]]s or with a [[Remote Bomb (Rune)|Remote Bomb]] after retrieving the [[Rune]] from inside the Shrine. | |||
The wall of the Great Plateau on the eastern side of the Eastern Abbey has broken apart and given way to a recess that holds an iron door. By moving the door with [[Magnesis]], [[Link]] can uncover a [[Rock]] which hides a [[Korok]] underneath. Embedded in the stonework atop the merlon that sits due north of the Korok is a [[Soldier's Broadsword]]. A pond on the northwest side of the Eastern Abbey holds a metallic Treasure Chest that contains an [[Amber]], which can be retrieved with Magnesis. | |||
