Overview
Master Mode allows Link to start over a new adventure on a separate file from the Normal mode one which may have already completed, on a harder difficulty. All enemies are powered up by one level, regain health over time, and detect Link's approach easier. New, stronger versions of enemies are also introduced while removing weaker variations such as red Bokoblins. Enemies and Treasure Chests may also appear floating in the sky on planks being held by Sky Octoroks.[1]
Save data for Master Mode is kept separate from save data in regular mode.[2] In Master Mode, all enemies are given a Golden rank, which is tougher than Silver.
