Template:Object The Scimitar of Twilight is a Sword created and used by Zant to resurrect Stallord in Twilight Princess. It was left unnamed upon its debut, but was later given a name in Hyrule Warriors as one of Zant's sets of Scimitars. Despite being classified as a Scimitar, it does not share the definitive characteristics of the real-world weapon.
Features
When Zant confronts Link in Arbiter's Grounds, he stabs the Sword into the skull of the fallen beast Stallord, awakening the once-dead creature, and beginning the fourth boss battle. It is unclear if the Scimitar of Twilight has any other powers, as it is not used or seen for the remainder of the game. It is possible that it gave Stallord many of its powers, such as calling upon Staltroops and flying after losing its body. Because the Scimitar is impaled into Stallord's head, it contributes to the heavy amount of damage the beast takes during its Critical Point in the second half of the battle after its spine is destroyed.
Non-Canon Appearances
Hyrule Warriors
In Hyrule Warriors, the Scimitars of Twilight appear as Zant's third level Scimitars. This version of the Weapon is identical to the Scimitar of Twilight Princess, except that it comes in pairs and has blue markings, as opposed to the red markings that appear in the former game.
