Middle House: Difference between revisions

The '''Middle House''' serves as the town hall of [[Symmetry Village]] in {{OoA}}. Like the rest of the village, the building is entirely symmetrical on the inside and the outside. At the far end of the house is a raised pedestal that holds in place the [[Tuni Nut]], the city's greatly worshiped symbol that gives balance to the village.<ref>{{Cite|The Tuni Nut is the city's symbol. We dutifully worshiped this nut.|Twin Sister|OOA}}</ref> The house is inhabited by twin sisters, who will welcome [[Link]] to the village.<ref>{{Cite|Welcome to Symmetry City! Perfect balance is the law of the land!|Twin Sister|OOA}}</ref> Both the twin sisters have husbands who live on opposite sides of the village. The two husbands also happen to be twin brothers.   

When Link first arrives in the village in the past, the Tuni Nut will be broken, causing the village to be unbalanced. The volcano inside the village will begin to erupt, and the area will fall into chaos,<ref>{{Cite|When the Tuni Nut broke, the city fell out of balance, and the volcano started erupting.|Twin Brother|OOA}}</ref> which will carry on into the present. Upon entering the Middle House, the twin sisters guarding the [[Tuni Nut]] will ask for his help.<ref>{{Cite|Help! Help! The Tuni Nut is broken!|Twin Sister|OOA}}</ref> They explain that the nut must be brought to [[Patch]] atop [[Restoration Wall]] to get it fixed.<ref>{{Cite|A guru named Patch lives at the top of Restoration Wall. I think he can fix the broken Tuni Nut.|Twin Sister|OOA}}</ref> However, neither of their husbands, the twin brothers, are able to bring the nut to Patch (one is injured, and the other cannot leave without his brother or else the village will be asymmetrical). As such, Link must take on the task himself. Once the Tuni Nut is fixed and placed on its pedestal in the Middle House,<ref>{{Cite|Hey! The Tuni Nut is fixed! Go place it on the pedestal in the Middle House!|Twin Brother|OOA}}</ref> balance and peace will return to the village,<ref>{{Cite|Balance has returned to the city! Thank you!|Twin Brother|OOA}}</ref> calming the volcano,<ref>{{Cite|The Tuni Nut is fixed! (...) Now the volcano should calm down!|Twin Sister|OOA}}</ref> and allowing Link to enter the [[Skull Dungeon]] in the present.
