Kakariko Gorge

The Kakariko Gorge is a large canyon to the southwest (southeast for Wii) of Kakariko Village in Twilight Princess. The gorge goes around Kakariko Village, through the Eldin plains, around Hyrule Castle Town, and around Death Mountain. The Bridge of Eldin, a fortress/bridge, goes through the gorge. The Zora's River flows right through the Gorge.

During your first visit, the bridge across the gorge is missing, but it can be found in Faron Woods. After defeating the Shadow Beasts there, a portal, which is needed to bring the bridge back, is created. Midna then uses her powers to move the bridge back to it's original location. This area is part of the Eldin Province's portion of Hyrule Field.
