Scaldera

Template:Boss Scaldera is a boss featured in Skyward Sword. It inhabits the Earth Temple.

Strategy

When the battle begins, Link must run to the end of the platform. Scaldera will then use his first attack, he will shoot large fireballs at Link. Link can avoid this by moving to the side. He can also restock on bombs here. Next Scaldera will dash toward Link but instead blow up a bomb and roll back down the bridge. Link must dash after him, and when he gets back up, he will suck up energy so he can shoot fireballs. Link needs to throw or roll a bomb into his mouth. The bomb will explode inside Scaldera and he will lose some armor. He will then fall on the ground and Link must slash at his eye, which was just revealed.

Soon Scaldera will develop, and begin dashing a little at a time, shooting fireballs in between, until he is all the way to the end of the bridge. He will then roll back down the bridge and the fight continues normally. Later, Scaldera's fireballs will curve toward Link, but this can be avoided by staying in the midddle of the side. Eventually, it will begin rolling all the way to the other end of the bridge. When Link comes near, Scaldera will walk over him and roll toward him. Link can then walk to the left of him and continue the battle normally.
