Popo
Many strange enemies inhabit the desert wastes of Hyrule. The Popo, which made its debut in A Link to the Past, may be the strangest in recorded Hylian bestiaries. The Popo is a sentient shamble of tentacles that moves along the sand in hopes of grabbing in prey to sustain on, using colors of orange and blue to lure unsuspecting prey into the beast's maw. Link confronted this creature in his adventures and was able to kill the beast with his sword.
