Port Town of Mido as it appears in Adventure of Link

Port Town of Mido is a town located in western Hyrule in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. It is in a desert, just north of the King's Tomb, and near the dock which is the gateway to eastern Hyrule. The Town was named after the Kokiri, Mido, from Ocarina of Time.

The Downward Thrust

Link was extremely satisfied to find a town after going through Death Mountain. He looked around this town and noticed a church that happened to be two stories tall. He pondered for a minute, but then it dawned on him. He used the Jump Spell to leap up to the top and go in. In the church was a knight who taught Link the Downward Thrust move.

The Water of Life

A mother in need

Talking to the townsfolk Link found out about a sick daughter. The daughter needed Link's help in order to be saved. Link searched far and wide and eventually found a Cave just West of Midoro Palace blocked by a boulder. Link used his hammer, fought through the enemies and found the Water of Life. Returning to the mother of the sick daughter in the Port Town of Mido, Link was rewarded with the Fairy Spell.
