Pincer

This wormlike creature was first spotted and documented by Link in his journeys on Koholint Island in Link's Awakening. These monsters make deep holes their homes, burrowing deeper and deeper into the abyss to hide themselves from unwary victims. When an enemy approaches, its eyes will glow near the top of the hole for a split second before lashing out at prey or intruder. Link was able to destroy this beast by slashing it with his sword after luring it out of its hole.
