Can we borrow this for use on Bulbapedia? How expensive are its functions anyway? TTEchidna 05:30, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Not paticularly, I think. But sure, go ahead. It's just a template.Justin(Talk) 05:43, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Seems to use some extensions we don't have at BP... TTEchidna 06:19, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's unlikely. If you run Mediawiki 1.15.1, you shouldn't have a problem. It's most likely your namespaces. I'll help you figure it out. Just tell me any custom namespaces you have (ones that you didn't start out with, like our community namespace.)Justin(Talk) 06:51, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Browse and its talk, Shipping and its talk, and Appendix and its talk are all we have extra. TTEchidna 09:03, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The only extension used in it that isn't a built-in feature of MediaWiki, that I'm aware of, is the Edit Count extension, which you can find on our Special:Version page. Everything else should work on any other current version of MediaWiki. It uses the numbers for namespaces to link to them instead of names. So it should be simple to cross over to another wiki. Custom namespaces are three digits, default ones are one to two. It's pretty straightforward.User:Matt/sig 19:57, January 20, 2010 (UTC)
