Isn't the "Minish Cap" Ezlo himself? He appears in the logo for the game, and that's usually reserved for the titular item. (Ex: Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Four Sword)KrytenKoro 22:24, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Actually, this could cut both ways. While initially one would think of Ezlo as the titular object/person, the thing that set all the events of the game into motion was the magical cap he created that was stolen by Vaati. Also, it was the cap Ezlo created that set everything right again in the end. Therefore, I would say it could go either way. And as there appears to be some debate over the matter, it's probably best for the wiki to not take sides in the matter since some say it's one way and others think it's the other. For what it's worth, according to the back of the box: "Using the power of a mystical hat called the Minish Cap, the Hylian hero will shrink down for a massive quest...on a microscopic scale!" Taxi4Dave 18:19, 04 July 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think we should just ditch the part about it being known as the Minish Cap. The cap has little to do with the Minish themselves, save for how one of them created it, and its whole role in the game is that it allowed Vaati to transform from a Minish into a powerful sorcerer. Coupled with, as stated above, the boxart clearly defines Ezlo as the Minish Cap, along with the Title section on this very page. Mistress Fi (talk) 03:24, 17 August 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
