Ancient Shrine
Template:Future game Shrines are mini-dungeons in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. According to the official Nintendo of America Twitter account, there are over 100 such dungeons scattered throughout the world [1]. Link enters the shrines by unlocking them via his Sheikah Slate. The shrines also contain runes which add functionality to the Sheikah Slate. As of E3 2016 there are four named shrines, each containing a rune, a series of puzzles, as well as the sage who resides in the shrine. The shrines are: Shrine Oman Au, Shrine Ja Baij, Shrine Owa Daim, and Shrine Ke Numut.
