Oocca
The Oocca are an ancient race of people, Ooccoo being one, that are rumored to have created the Hylians. Shad states later in the game that they are the ancestors of the Hylians. They live in the City in the Sky. They seem to resemble a bald chicken and can be used to float similarly to Cuccos. When they are picked up, they make irritating, high pitched, fast nonsense noises. The Oocca are also rumored to be somehow associatied with the royal family and possibly be closer to the gods than the Hylians and Sheikah, although this is also just a rumor.
The Oocca seem to be based on M. C. Escher's painting "Another World" which includes similar birdlike creatures.
