Acheman
The Acheman is a bat-demon that is part of the enemy force led by Ganon in Adventure of Link. Although they lack the Hylian shape-shifting abilities of their cousins (the Ache), they have a much more deadly transformation.
Hanging from the ceilings of their abode, they may resemble an Ache, although the first difference that a traveler will know is that normal Ache are only blue and purple. The Acheman in bat form is a deep red. When it senses an intruder nearby it will swoop down like an Ache, but the similarity stops there. When the Acheman touches ground, it transforms into a demon that spits fire at intruders. After a few volleys of fire, the Acheman will have to recharge and retreat into bat form to regain energy in a safe place. The Acheman is significantly stronger than its Ache relatives, and can be killed with bladed weapons, like a sword.
