Midna's Father

Biography
Before the manga's events, Midna's Father ruled the Twilight Realm and Twili people as king, since he was recognized for having the strongest power.[1] He ruled with a council and Zant as his close advisor. When he died, his daughter Midna was a candidate to be the next leader, with Zant being the other.[2] The council of Midna's Father feared Zant's ambition, and chose the king's daughter instead.[3] Zant was displeased at this because he had been planning to take Midna's Father's throne, so he used his magic to usurp the princess.[4]
