You can add a new article by replacing the text "Main_Page" in the URL of this page with the name of the page you want to create. You can also type in a term in the Search box that has no article yet written, which would do the same as replacing the URL. From there, just click the "edit" tab and begin adding to the ZUWiki database!

About ZUWiki Categories

For now, six categories exist: a Zelda category (Category:Zelda), a Community category for anything pertaining to the forums or chat room, or about users on ZU (Category:Community), and finally a miscellaneous category (Category:Misc) for anything else. Recently created categories include Zelda Sites (Category:Zelda Sites) for posting information about other Zelda sites, and Nintendo (Category:Nintendo) for anything relating to Nintendo that does not relate to Zelda. The newest category is named Disambiguation (Category:Disambiguation). This category houses articles that post links to articles with similar names, such as The Wind Waker (Game) and The Wind Waker (Item).

To specify a category for your article, use the following tag: [[Category:CategoryName]]

Please note that we require the entries in the "Zelda", "Nintendo" and "Zelda Sites" categories to be of a more serious and informative nature as opposed to "Community" and "Misc" categories, which are more for fun than anything else. Keep this in mind when adding articles.

Wiki has been upgraded

We are now running MediaWiki v1.4.6, an update from our previous 1.4.2. The update has gone seemingly smoothly - however, report any bugs!

What else was was fixed:

- Image-upload problem. You can now all upload images as you like, there shouldn't be issues with that.
