The Wood Heart is an item in the trading sequence of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. It is obtained by giving the Guard Notebook to Nyave in the SW sea. Giving it to the Wayfarer on his ship in the SE sea will allow you to return to Bannan Island and get the Swordsman's Scroll, which will allow you to use the Great Spin Attack.
